You'll find plenty to do, and we have tried to give you a list of the many attractions and events available for you and your family. We haven't had a chance to try them all ourselves, so let us know which ones you enjoy! Annual Events - Here is a list of some of the year-round events on The Emerald Coast. Attractions - There is no shortage of family attractions on the Emerald Coast Bicycling - Rent a bicycle and enjoy the sights and sounds of the coast up close. Boating - Here is a list of some of the local marinas and boat launches in the area. Fishing - Fishermen call Destin the "Luckiest Fishing Village in the World." Food - Superb! That's how visitors describe the host of excellent restaurants available here. Dolphins - Here is a list of some of the local dolphin cruises available in the area. Golf - Grab your clubs and get ready to golf - there are plenty of golf courses are available in the Destin, Fort Walton, Okaloosa Island area. Ice Cream - It is great to have ice cream to top off a day at the beach! Kite Flying - There is nothing better than flying a kite a the beach. Parasailing - for a bird's eye view of the beach, there are a number of parasailing companies available.
